A growing online library of guided rest practices, created to empower busy women, like you, make rest a regular part of their lives.
Launching 19th October 2026
You have work to do.
People who need you.
A never-ending to-do list.
Food to cook.
Housework to do.
Messages waiting for a reply.
Things to organise, remember and sort out.
And so you tell yourself:
"I'll rest when I've finished all my jobs and earned it.” Or "I'll rest when I've got more time.”
(But deep down you know, there is never going to be more time).
If you continue like this, you’re on a one-way street to complete exhaustion, discomfort in your body, snapping constantly at loved ones, and feeling like you’re living on a hamster wheel everyday.
But what if you didn't have to wait?
What if rest could happen in 5, 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes?
You can choose the practice that meets you exactly where you are, in between the school run, your next meeting and the washing.
I've created the Revolutionary Rest Club for the woman who is ready to stop letting society make her rush constantly, who wants to take back control of her nervous system, her mind and body and take time for herself.
You can start fitting your life around rest. I know that might sound radical, but that's part of the point.
You’ve become very good at squeezing everything else into your days: Work; Family; Exercise; Social plans; Housework; Appointments; Other people's needs.
But rest? Rest gets whatever is left and often, there isn't anything left.
I'm inviting you to experiment with something different.
What if rest became part of your life rather than something you occasionally do when you're ill, or burnt out?
You regularly tell yourself "I don't have time to rest.” But you feel tired every day.
You're busy and often put everyone else's needs before your own and it’s making you feel resentful.
You feel like you're always “on" and you’ve forgotten what it’s like to feel present in your body.
You find it difficult to switch off, and would love to feel more calm.
You want to feel calmer, more grounded and more energised and the ways you’ve been trying to do that aren’t working.
You'd like to explore different types of rest, because one size doesn’t fit all.
You're new to rest practices and don't know where to start.
You want practices that fit around your actual life, rather than an idealised version of it.
You’ve tried the 10 step morning routine and still find your brain feels foggy by 11am.
You want a simple way to make rest a more regular part of your wellbeing, because you have decided to take your rest seriously.
Taking more rest will:
Make you more productive, by improving cognitive function, memory consolidation and decision making.
Reduce your stress, allowing your nervous system to finally come out of ‘fight or flight mode’ and into ‘rest and digest’.
Support you to be healthier:
physically, by reducing inflammation and lowering your blood pressure;
mentally, by improving mental clarity, reducing brain fog and boosting your creativity;
emotionally by regulating emotions, and allowing you to pause before reacting;
energetically, by enabling you to connect more deeply to yourself and your specific needs, honouring the season of life that you are in.
It will make your life better in so many magical ways, because you’ll be calmer and more present.
There isn't one perfect way to rest, and there certainly isn't one perfect amount of time to rest.
Sometimes you need five minutes to breathe and reset during a stressful day at work.
Sometimes you need to lie down and completely switch off, because you are running completely on empty.
Sometimes your mind feels busy, or you feel overwhelmed and you want to be guided, because you need to focus on something other than your negative inner voice.
Sometimes your body needs stillness and silence, because you’ve been talked at in meetings all day.
Sometimes you need to release the day, because let’s face it some days life is a challenge.
And sometimes you have no idea what you need — you just know that you're tired and rest is the most powerful way to re-energise (even if the patriarchy doesn’t want you to know that!).
Inside the Revolutionary Rest Club you'll find a wide range of guided rest practices, from quick resets that take less than 5 minutes, through to deeper practices of up to 90 minutes.
So you can choose what feels right for you, today.
Just stop, pause, be, rest.
Your membership isn't a static collection of recordings.
At least two new rest practices will be added every month.
So as your relationship with rest evolves, the Club evolves with you.
And every month, we'll also come together for a live Revolutionary Rest Club Workshop.
These live sessions will give us the opportunity to explore a particular aspect of rest together, experience practices in real time and spend some dedicated time slowing down.
Can't make it live?
Don't worry.
Every live workshop will be recorded and added to the Club library, so you can experience it whenever works for you.
I don't want the Revolutionary Rest Club to become another thing you feel you ‘should’ be doing.
There are no daily challenges, no streaks to maintain. No pressure to complete a programme, or gold stars for resting every day. You can dip in when you need it. You can practise regularly or you can disappear for a while and come back. You can choose three minutes one day and 60 minutes another.
There is no right way to use the Club.
It's there when you need it.

I'm Emma Longbottom, a wellbeing practitioner and rest mentor.
Rest has been a huge part of my own wellbeing and self-healing evolution for more than a decade, and I've been sharing rest practices with others for many years.
Rest supports my whole life, it has taken me from someone who was stressed, in chronic pain, and had recurring illness, to the calm, aligned version who supports people to rest.
For me, regular rest includes gentle, restful yoga practices, breath work, and meditation, alongside energy healing (I self-heal and receive treatments from others). Some days this will be less than five minutes, some days it will be an hour, and every now and again it will be half or a whole day.
Over time I have realised that we often (myself included) keep ourselves busy so that we don’t have time and space to process our emotions and trauma. We keep them pushed down and distract ourselves, hoping that they will go away and resolve themselves. I’m afraid my experience is that this doesn’t happen: not dealing with whatever was going on in my life just exacerbated my stress levels and dysregulated my nervous system. When this happens over an extended period (like it did for me), this then leads to your body and mind feeling dis-eased, which can ultimately lead to illness and disease.
When I come to stillness in a safe and secure environment, and allow my body to rest, it enables my mind to rest, which means my nervous system can start to regulate and my stress levels can reduce. It is at this point where I find healing starts. This might be physical, emotional, or mental healing (or all three, as you’ll soon discover).
I also see in a lot of clients that we've forgotten how to prioritise ourselves and we’ve been conditioned to believe that rest is lazy.
That's why I created the Revolutionary Rest Club.
Not to give you another thing to achieve.
But to create a space you can return to whenever you need to pause, breathe, soften and reconnect with yourself.
